Austin Bat Cave Brand Refresh

One of our favorite local organizations, Austin Bat Cave, recently got a brand refresh from one of our favorite local design studios, Lewis Carnegie. The old logo was nice, but the new one reads so much better. Thick bold lines and the use of a pencil icon in place of the dated quil pen makes the logo readable to the right audience: the kids that Austin Bat Cave serves. To add an element of fun, Lewis Carnegie also brightened the color palette, flipped the bat, and changed up the typography. Such seemingly simple changes that make all the world of difference. So what is Austin Bat Cave? "Austin Bat Cave is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides children and teenagers (ages 6-18) with opportunities to develop their creative and expository writing skills. We connect a diverse population of young writers and learners with a vibrant community of adult volunteers in Austin. All of our programs are free."
