Work of Illustrator Virginie Morgand

I am always impressed when an artist can make a complex process look so simple. The illustrations of Virginie Morgand don't include much fussy detail work at all. In fact, her line work and shapes are very raw and natural. But what she lacks in detail, she more than makes up in composition and her knack for balancing bold colors and shapes.Artists like Virginie are so interesting to me because they don't focus on the minute details of each element on the page, they focus more on the composition. I need to take a few notes :)See more of her work here!
