Louis Reith Reimagined Art

It's hard to not stop and look at something when the elements are so extremely juxtaposed. This is why Louis Reith's artwork is so intriguing. The high contrast between light and dark, and geometric against organic is stunning. And to think that found pages of old books are what make the perfect canvas for Reith's artwork.

Reith, an artist and graphic designer based in the Netherlands, says he seeks tranquility in his artwork and sculptures. He uses ultra graphics on found media (old maps, photography, book pages, and wood) to reimagine it into art that he feels better "communicates" to the audience. And the results are these beautifully balanced compositions. Reith's work has been showcased in many galleries around the world, and rightly so.
