California Design 1930-1965 "Living in a Modern Way"

Last year, we attended the California Design 1930-1965 exhibit in the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). It was such a great exhibit of mid-century modern design and architecture. The pictures, posters and furniture were so inspiring to see, and there was even a replica of the Eames living room! After the exhibit, the gift shop had the book California Design 1930-1965 "Living in a Modern Way". We wanted it so badly, but couldn't really splurge for it at that time. Ever since, Brad has been talking about wanting that book, so I decided that the only reasonable thing to do was to get it for him for Father's Day. It is such a gem, with over 300 pages jam packed with examples and information of one of the most stunning eras in design history. It was definitely worth the buy and will be a great addition to our library.
