Alice no País das Maravilhas

The whimsical and magical story of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland has been an inspiration for many artists over the years. There is so much imagery to pull from and the imagination is able to run wild when envisioning Wonderland in all it's glory. When communication design studio oriviva!  was approached by All About Dance to do the design for their Alice in Wonderland themed Christmas program, the studio where excited to take such a well known and loved story and apply their geometric, bold style to it.

The result was as charming and imaginative as the story itself with the poster, flyers, invitations, pins, programs, t-shirts, packaging, and tags created for the event coordinating perfectly. The thin typography mixed with the bold block playing-card style of the illustration was a great symbol to the story as well. Oriviva! said on their behance project description "we had the idea of producing visuals with the same richness and graphic detail of the ones we find on beautifully designed playing cards; Luckily All About Dance's red and black color palette married perfectly with this approach...we believe the visuals have a delicate and obscure feel at the same time that relates very well to the story."
