Aeroplay Kites by Lily Li

Some of my favorite memories as a child are the times spent at the park with my family flying kites. I once tried to make my own kite...it was a failure. It wouldn't fly, and was really just a mess of tape and popcicle sticks. I wish I had an Aeroplay Kites kit when I was a kid.   These fun and fresh designs were created by Toronto based designer, Lily Li.Aeroplay Kites is a do-it-yourself kite kit for children. Each kit has enough pieces to make two kites. The design is colorful and happy, perfect for the fun nature of the subject. I love the packaging and how well Lily Li uses the bright, bold and simple patterns against the white package for such a playful effect. Young me would have absolutely loved an Aeroplay Kite, frankly, I wouldn't mind one now.
