Fifty-Nine Parks Print Series
As avid U.S. National Park goers, we are so proud of our ongoing collaboration with the Fifty-Nine Parks Print Series. The series encourages folks to celebrate and visit our National Parks through beautifully curated artwork. One key piece to unite the entire series is the map we made showcasing all the parks. What was originally supposed to only live as a screen printed poster, exploded in popularity and made it on to a variety of products including puzzles, books and even beach towels. Due to the success of our map, we even began making maps for individual parks.

OUR ROLE:
Our Goal
From the beginning of this project our goal was to make a map that would feel both warm and nostalgic, but at the same time feel timeless. It also had to be a functional piece of art. As we knew we couldn’t fit in illustrations for every single park, we decided to highlight landmarks, animals and plants from a handful of parks.
As mentioned earlier, we couldn’t possible imagine just how popular the map became and were delighted to find out that companies were lining up to license the map for a myriad of different products. As amazing as that was, we are so proud of Fifty-Nine Parks for not making every deal that was offered, and instead only allowed the map to be used on products that had the least amount of negative impact to our environment. Nothing is cheap and disposable.
