The Progression of Storytelling

Technology has effected the evolution of pretty much every aspect of modern life. Books are no stranger to this progression, from cave walls to iPads they have been evolving for ages. This TED talk from Joe Sabia explores this idea from the first guy, Lothar Meggendorfer, who decided to change the standard book into a pop-up book and change storytelling. This concept of technology playing a role in the evolution of inventions can applied to all careers as well; especially art. Artists started with plants and clay as ink, and then paints came along, then pens and other tools, then computers came with thier programs and completely changed the game again. It is definitely an interesting concept to think about.Joe Sabia is a modern storyteller. He uses new technology, and the visual aids it provides, mixed with old fashioned narrations to tell interesting stories.
