Our First SXSW

This year, for the first time after many years of hoping to someday go, we made it to South by Southwest (SXSW). Lucky for us, it is just down the street for us now that we live in Austin. It was quite the experience for first-timers! There were a lot of parties, way too many people, and some really cool opportunities to meet designers and illustrators from all over. The highlight of the festival though had to have been Flatstock, the poster show. We bought way too much art, but hey, it's only once a year, right? One of the most awesome things about SXSW, is the amount of talented people that come to town. The world is so small now, especially within the art community. We feel like we know so many of you because we interact online, but it is really cool to be able to meet in person and actually put a face to the work. Now that we figured out how all of the SXSW chaos works, we can't wait for next year! Check out our poster spoils. The art we brought home this year from these talented artists: Dan StilesMethane StudiosTelegrammeVahalla StudiosDKNG, and Boss Construction.
