Sideshow Sign Co.

Back when we attended the Brimfield Antique Show, we saw so many incredible antique signs that we were dying to bring home. Lack of space, funds, and honestly a place to hang the signs made us decide to wait for a better time. Ever since then, we have been pining for handmade signage, especially old-fashioned custom marquee light-up signs. Then, we discovered Sideshow Sign Co.  They are the exact definition of craft, creating beautiful typographic signs that are made with expert care and just enough rust and age. Couldn't you see a "Brave the Woods" custom sign for our studio? We could.

Sideshow Sign Co. is run by Australian graphic designer Luke Stockdale. Stockdale and his shop is now located in Nashville, Tennessee. He spent the last decade working with vintage type and print and studying on some of the oldest printing presses and collectors warehouses in Australia. He now creates custom typographic signs, light-up marquee letters, and throwback vintage prints.  "These days I am working to bring the type off the page, exchanging the office for the workshop, and carpal tunnel and coffee breaks for splinters and tetanus shots," he states on his website. He has worked for clients like ESPN, LA Dodger's retailers, New York and Company, and many more.
