Pilot and Captain Travel Gear

Whenever I travel somewhere new, I feel the need to buy a memento that says the name of the place I have visited. I also tend to do this for every place I have lived. If you are the same, you know that tourist are sold some of the ugliest, most pointless junk in the airports and on street vendor's carts. What this means, is that I have a bunch of random stuff (mugs, keychains, sweatshirts) that hide away in a box or closet and never see the light of day. I think that is why I love this series of t-shirts and bags from Pilot and Captain, I'd actually wear/use it! Everything is designed using the cities' airport codes and abbreviations which make them look like fun typographic tees that don't scream "souvenir." Pilot and Captain are Dustin Summers and Jason Kernevich. You make recognize their names, because they are the extremely talented duo that founded the design studio The Heads of State. They say that their collection is for anyone "planning an adventure, rooting for the home team, or just hunting for souvenirs." Though the current collection has quite a few cities, they are always expanding, and even put the next city on the list to a vote. Check out some more of their shirts, carry-on bags, and even some luggage label prints below and at their site.
