MaRKR: the creation of the Edding typeface

Swiss design collective Buro Destruct was tasked with creating a typeface for the marker company Edding. MaRKR from type-for-type.com on Vimeo is a documentation of their processes and how their minds worked in creating this typeface.Buro Destruct has spent that last 19 years working out of small-town Bern Switzerland. They are a four-man collective that lives by their motto "small city, big designs" with clientele and galleries all over the world. The Edding typeface can be downloaded here.
