As a guitar player and father of a little boy, these beautifully simple and customizable, 3 string guitars immediately made it onto my wishlist. Your kid can handpick each part of the guitar to build their own, personalized instrument. And once they grow out of a certain body style, or want to move to the next level, they can upgrade with a new color, body, or even a longer neck.What started out as an academic project for Rafael Atijas in 2010, to help teach kids play the guitar, Loog Guitars has since become a reality. After launching on Kickstarter with a $15,000 goal, it quickly fetched $65,618 in backing. The Loog Guitar is target towards beginners and kids by having nylon strings, colorful/interchangeable parts, 3 strings, and different size necks for growth.Everything about these guitars make me excited. You better believe my kids is getting one of these really soon.
