Joy Laforme Homes

They say home is where the heart is, and everyone pictures their home a specific way. I picture the midwestern home I grew up in in the early fall, leaves everywhere, the brick house blending into the surrounding forest. Illustrator Joy Laforme has a talent for capturing that memory in her illustrations of homes. Joy Laforme is an illustrator and textile artist from Hudson Valley, New York. Though her subject matter varies, Laforme has a large collection of prints she has illustrated of homes. The terrarium series is my favorite; Laforme literally encapsulates home in their perfect moment.
