Halloween Print Contest

Halloween is just around the corner, and I want to give you an excuse to create that Halloween illustration you have always wanted to make. If you are anything like Krystal and I, we are obsessed with this spooky holiday. We can't think of a better way to dive into the month of October, than by starting up a Halloween print contest. The winner will win 15 screen prints of their illustration! The contest is running through our Skillshare course, Digital Illustration: Communicate with Color, Pattern and Texture. Only students of our online course will be eligible to submit an illustration into the contest. So if you haven't already joined the class, now would be a great time to hop on board! This class will teach you how to breath life back into your own digital illustrations through the use of a few basic design elements. Whether you are new to digital illustration, or you are experienced but would like to enhance your ability to incorporate color, pattern and texture into your art, this is the class for you. From concept to completion, you will come away from this class with a beautiful, hang-it-on-your-wall-worthy, piece of art.Here are the contest rules:1. The dimensions of your artwork should be 8" x 10".2. You can use up to 3 colors maximum.3. Subject matter needs to be Halloween related.4. Only one entry per person.5. All submissions are due by 10/31.6. You have to be enrolled in the Digital Illustration: Communicate with Color, Pattern and Texture course on Skillshare.*These will be screen printed, so remember you have up to three colors PLUS the color of the paper.I will be looking over each submission personally and decide on which artist is the winner. And boy am I looking forward to looking through a stack of Halloween illustrations!Let's see what you learned from the class!
