Face Stamp! at Pick Me Up 2013
I'm sure many of us can remember playing with stickers that make up faces similar to these as children. At the 2013 Pick Me Up graphic arts fair in London, creative agency Human After All played with that nostalgia and childlike creativity with their exhibit Face Stamp!. Face Stamp! was described as an "interactive art experience that championed creativity," and in collaboration with a variety of artists, offered a a chance for visitors to create their own art.Eight artists participated in Face Stamp! by creating the base faces and parts of a face for people to use in the exhibit. These face parts (eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and accessories) were then made into stamps for visitors to use to create artwork, or t-shirts with vinyl heat-stamps. Human After All art directed the exhibit and curated an online gallery of participant's artwork that can be found here.
